Hello, I’m Alexandra Stull McKay, an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist with a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. I am passionate about helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions with empathy, clarity, and intentional support.
I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, and the long-term effects of sexual trauma, integrating Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and other evidence-based modalities to support meaningful healing and lasting change.
I feel especially drawn to working with teenagers and young adults, recognizing the unique emotional pressures of growing up in today’s world. Therapy during these years can become a powerful space for developing self-awareness, emotional resilience, and confidence in one’s identity and voice.
My approach is holistic and person-centered, tailored to each client’s individual needs and goals. I integrate creativity, self-exploration, and empowerment into therapy, helping clients connect with their inner strength and authenticity. My background as an artist brings an expressive dimension to the therapeutic process, offering alternative pathways for processing emotions and experiences when words alone may feel limiting.
I believe each person has the capacity for healing and growth. My goal is to provide a grounded, supportive space where you can gain clarity, process difficult experiences, and move toward greater peace, resilience, and emotional well-being.
Who I Work Best With:
I work best with clients who feel emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected from themselves, or ready to explore deeper patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, trauma, or relational distress.
Many of my clients are women, teens, and mothers who have spent significant energy caring for others and are now ready to reconnect with their own identity, needs, and voice. If you are drawn to creative expression, holistic healing, or are looking for a warm, steady therapeutic presence, we may be a strong fit.
